Access to all our Customer information is restricted and only accredited employees or Consultants of Dentsure Ltd who need the information to perform a specific job are granted access to personally identifiable information (PII). The servers on which we process PII are domiciled within a secure environment (ISO 27001). On occasions the collection of data may include Bank or Credit Card details associated with the payment of Dentsure services. Any payment card information is passed directly to the Banks for processing and we do not store that information. All data processors with access to and associated with the processing of PII are obliged to respect the confidentiality of Customer personal data. Dentsure is fully committed to complying with the Data Protection Act 1998 and the 8 ICO principles of data processing. Our Valident secure e-data service makes a special provision for the erasure of all sensitive e-data (PII) from our servers as soon as the Registered Dental Practice Data Controller (the Recipient) has accessed and downloaded the data provided by the Sender (patient). Visitors can access www.dentsure.co.uk or www.valident.co.uk home pages and browse these websites without the requirement of logging on using a unique personal access facility. The www.valident.net website does not enable visitors to communicate or to post information to be accessed by others unless they are registered Data Controllers whose names are published on the ICO Public Register and are also accredited Valident Customers.
Information may be collected from dental practice website users (patients) when completing Valident Online Contact Forms (v-Forms), Consultation, Feedback, Appointment Booking, New Patient Registration or Consultant Referrals as part of a service provided by Dentsure Ltd. The personal information (PII) provided via our Valident dental practice website secure online e-communications (v-Forms) will be acted upon and used exclusively by the Dental Practice Data Controller collecting the information (PII) which users (patients) have provided on a Dental Practice website. Any response to user (patient) requests will be made by telephone or letter delivered to the postal address patients have requested. Standard e-mail communications are not considered suitable for the secure e-transmission of PII.
All PII collected through Valident v-Forms will be used for the purpose of delivering healthcare services and the information will only be used for this purpose.
A "cookie" is a small file stored on your computer by a website that assigns a numerical user ID and stores certain information about your online browsing. No personal information is retained and the session identification number automatically assigned to you when you use our web site is deleted at the end of the transaction.
